The first theatre production experiment in Nuova Sicilia came to life last night in the Teatro Massimo Falcone e Borsellino. An SL remake of Samuel Beckett's "Eh Joe" was directed by RL Dutch Theatre Director SaveMe Oh, starring Dutch Actor Cupido Oh and American CallieDel Boa as "the voice". The play combined live avatar acting using both streaming audio and SL voice and an innovative SL to SL live video stream to two screens on each side of the stage to better capture avatar close-ups. Special thanks for a successful evening to SaveMe Oh (director), Cupido Oh (Main Character), CallieDel Boa (Voice), Ze Moo and the RL Amsterdam Theatre De Balie (live video and streaming), Don Laprade (Stage Design). and for the wonderful participation of the Nuova Sicilia community |
